Oh what fun it is to celebrate holidays as a class!! We have had so many festive events this past week and wanted to share them with you all!
We got our boogie on with 'Blitzen's Boogie' and were so excited to show everyone our singing and dancing for the Christmas Concert this week.
Santa Visit
Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit!!! What excitment and laughter we had! We know Santa is super busy but we were lucky to share a story and a special cookie made by Mrs. Claus!
Gingerbread House Making
Thank you so very much to all the families that supported our fun learning buddy activity!! We are so lucky to get to do activities such as this that would not be possible without an amazing community. A special thanks goes to our Grade 6/7 learning buddies, Ms. Vivian, Mrs. Mathers and Ms. Found for helping with the event!! Hope they made the journey home safely! ;)
Dress Up Day & Carol Sing
A little Christmas spirit goes a long, long way! What a fun last day of school!
Christopher
Christopher has been a very special visitor in our class this past month. He has done some really fun and silly things and has learned so much. He left all the students a little note today and a special gift students enjoyed today. We will miss him but wish him and Snowflake a very safe journey back to the North Pole!
Estimate Jar
At the beginning of the month, Christopher arrived with items for our Estimate Jar. Today was the perfect day to do some estimating and put our mental math skills to the test. Congratulations to our Busy Bee, Izzy for winning with the exact estimate. Izzy shared her winnings with her friends and also took home quite a few special treats to share at home as well. These our Christopher's favourite treats!
Christmas Gift Time

Earlier this month, we wrote to Santa. We had some of our letters published in the local St. Marys Independent paper as well. This week we received some very special mail in return from the big guy himself. We made the NICE list!!!
