Oh what fun it is to celebrate holidays as a class!! We have had so many festive events this past week and wanted to share them with you all!
We got our boogie on with 'Blitzen's Boogie' and were so excited to show everyone our singing and dancing for the Christmas Concert this week.
Santa Letter
Earlier this month, we wrote to Santa. This week we received some very special mail in return from the big guy himself. We made the NICE list!!!
Gingerbread House Making
Thank you so very much to all the families that supported our fun learning buddy activity!! We are so lucky to get to do activities such as this that would not be possible without an amazing community. A special thanks goes to our Grade 4/5 learning buddies, Mr. Glover, Mrs. Westman, Mrs. Folkes and Mrs. Nairn for helping with the event!! Hope the creations made the journey home safely! ;)

Dress Up Day & Carol Sing
A little Christmas spirit goes a long, long way! We enjoyed a school wide carol sing in the gym! We sure did miss this the last few years! What a fun last day of school!
Christopher
Christopher has been a very special visitor in our class this past month. He has done some really fun and silly things and has learned so much. He left all the students a little note and a special treat from the North Pole. We will miss him but wish him and Snowflake a very safe journey back to the North Pole!
Estimate Jar
At the beginning of the month, Christopher arrived with items for our Estimate Jar. Today was the perfect day to do some estimating and put our mental math skills to the test. However, the weather didn't agree! So we will get to complete out Estimate Jar in January!! I think Christopher left us some treats for our January Estimate Jar as well!!

Wishing all the Grade 1 Busy Bee families a very healthy, enjoyable and relaxing holiday break!! Merry Christmas and see you in 2023 for a new year!

Christmas Gift Time
Christopher hid our gifts from Ms. King and sent us on an adventure! It was so much fun!! Smiles all around and gifts for reading over Christmas!
