We were building and practicing naming our 2D Shapes in class. Our goal is to be able to recognize a shape quickly and remember the name by determining the number of sides or vertices. These are called the properties of 2D shapes. Today, we were focusing on hexagons. We took pictures of the different kinds of hexagons we built. The students are doing a great job learning there shapes! See if you can challenge them at home to find the different shapes we have been talking about.
