Here Comes the Snowy Weather

 

We have some snowy weather! While we don't know how long this may or may not last, we do need to be dressed for the weather that is presented to us. 

Please remember that the expectation for the primary students at South Perth is that if there is snow on the ground, we are dressed with snowpants, hats, mitts, winter boots and a zipped up winter coat. Please ensure your child is supplied with these materials at school each day. Sending a spare hat and mitts would be greatly appreciated as there isn't always enough time to dry between recesses or travel between school/home. 

It is up to parents if you wish your child to wear snowpants to and from school. Please let your child's teacher know if they NEED to wear the snowpants on the bus. Otherwise, students will be given the choice to carry their snowpants home in a separate bag (if they do not fit in backpacks). Please keep a spare reuseable bag in backpacks for their snowpants and any wet hats and mitts to come home.
