Moving & Grooving

We have been practicing two different Chicken Dances in our classroom and the gym. One dance is the traditional polka with the traditional choreography and the other was the Just Dance Chicken Dance on the game. We found many differences and similarities between the two dances. Here is what we found:

Similar
* The music sounded the almost the same.
* It is the same because they are both chicken dances.
* They are the same because they both are 2 minutes long.
* They both have the dancers pretending to fly.
* They both wiggled their bums down to a squat.

Different
* The music sounded a little with different sounds added into the Just Dance one.
* The traditional dance we skipped in a circle but in the video, we did windmills with our arms.
* In the traditional dance we did clapping, and the other one we did not.
* We didn't do the beaks to start in the video one.
* At the end they had their hands on their legs to finish.
* In the traditional one we went down and the other one they waved their arms.
