Yesterday marked the 100th day in Grade 1/2 and we were celebrating with some great activities throughout the day!
In the morning, we to get active we started with what we can do in one hundred seconds. You may have seen this sheet come home. We practiced estimating and learning a little about what one second vs 100 seconds feels like while getting our body moving.
During our middle block of the day, we combined our 100’s Day activities with our Shrove Tuesday activities. We want to thank Ryan's mom for coming and helping make pancakes with our students. So much learning comes from activities such as these, including measurement, life skills, following procedures and so on! We had a great snack at school as a result! Everyone loved the pancakes!
Hope everyone enjoyed the 100's Day Trail Mix that students made at school learning how to make groups of 10 and 10 groups of 10 make 100! Learning about three digit numbers sure can be tricky!

What a great day celebrating how much smarter we are now that we have come to school for 100 days in Grade 1/2!!
