Bullying Awareness Week

This week we have been learning about bullying! We spent lots of time talking about what it is and how it is not ok. Our shared reading this week is about making others feel bad about how they look or the situation they may be in with the song, 'Don't Laugh At Me'. They are bringing it home to share this weekend with their home activity of making a plan how to be buddy and not a bully. This is a copy of our song that we have been learning this week.

While we spent lots of time talking about bullying, we focused more on what we should be doing! That's showing kindness! We are learning so much about how to treat others. 

We have read a few books this last week all about kindness. 

    

Then we created a brainstorm about how to show kindness to others. 

Students are on a secret mission this weekend to see what happens when they do a good deed. Shhhh, act surprised!
