On Friday, we had our Busy Bee Check in Chat with our Spirit Bee Buzz Groups. Students discussed things that are going well in our class. The students come up with all the ideas and Mre. Herbert just did the typing and facilitating of the discussion. In these mini group chats, we are practicing thinking of ideas and sharing them in complete sentences.
Things that are going well:
* I like about Grade 1/2 is that we get ipads. (Ruth)
* My favourite thing about Grade 1/2 is that we get to play in the gym and we get to play line tag. (Ruby)
* I like literacy centers because we get to use the toys in the cupboard. (Parker H.)
* I really like Grade 1/2 because we get to do reading. (Brody)
* I like math because I like to do it at my house and at school. (Gavin)
* I like the ipads because we get to play Teach Your Monster Numbers. (Jordan)
* I like Grade 1/2 because we have art. (Piper)
* I like Grade 1/2 because we get math centers. (Parker F.)
* What I like about Grade 1/2 is that we got to do the Terry Fox book. (Zoe)
