Students have been learning all about 2D shapes and that 2D shapes can be flipped, turned and slid into spaces to make other shapes. We have been using a special 2D shape collection, called tangrams, that is a set of 7 shapes/sizes to create different challenges this week. This has really got our brains thinking and creating problem solving while persevering on some challenging tasks. We have really enjoyed building with these. Next, we will start to use 2D shapes as faces (sides) on 3D shapes!
