Last Saturday was World Kindness Day! Over this past week, we have been learning about bullying which is the opposite of kindness. We are learning so much about how to treat others.
We have read a few books this last week all about kindness and to help us understand the concept of bullying.
Then we created a brainstorm about how to show kindness to others.
We have done some writing about what a 'bucket filler' and a 'bucket dipper' means and posted in the hallway to teach our school community all about showing kindness. Ask your child about what these terms mean and their awesome ideas about how to fill other's buckets!
Tomorrow, we are going to start some posters for Media with our clear message about bullying to put up in the school.
