Spirit Bee Check In Chat

Today, we had our Busy Bee Check in Chat with our Spirit Bee Buddy Buzz Groups. Students discussed things that are going well in our class, and things we need to work on together as a group. The students come up with all the ideas and Ms. King just did the typing and facilitating of the discussion.

Things that are going well:

* Something that I like about our classroom is that we get to play. (Clayton)

* Something that I like in our classroom is that we get to do teacher reading. (Jessica)

* Something that is going well in the classroom is that we get to do spelling. (Ashton)

* Something that I like about the classroom is that we get to do math while we are doing calendar. (Kassy)

* Something that I like about the classroom is that we get to play in our math buckets. (Harper)

* Something that I like in the classroom is that we get a bunch of smiles. (Aiden)

* I like about our classroom is that Ms. King says hi to us in the morning. (Isabella)

* Something I like in the classroom is we get to play Teacher Monster. (Reed)

* Something that is going well in our classroom is that the floor is getting tidy. (Breslin)

Things that we need to work on as a class:

* Something that we could work on is taking our shoes off faster. (Bumbleebees)

* Something that we could work on in the classroom is getting more smiles. (Stingless Bees)

* Something that we could work on in the classroom is cleaning up faster. (Digger Bees)

* Something we could work on is writing down our reminders faster. (Bumblebees)

* Something we could work on as a class is keeping the buckets tidier. (Stingless Bees)

Ways to solve our concerns:

Writing Our Reminders Faster:  by getting our outdoor stuff off faster and getting into the classroom, check the reminders board all by yourself, follow the smartboard clues, move your pencil a bit faster, stop talking to those around us, look at a couple words at a time then write them down, remind those around us to get on task

Kids always have interesting perspective about what is going on in the classroom. We continue to learn and grow together to be better people!
