Today, in Grade 1/2, we seemed to have a visitor named Lucky the Leprechaun! He sure was up to no good!! He stole some of the treats out of the Estimate Jar, thinking it was real gold and ran away with it!! He left green footprints on the floor that went out our class and out the door. He was no where to be found! We bet he will be surprised when he finds out it was just chocolate treats! He also wrote his name with pencil crayons on the u-shaped table and left us messages around the classroom!
Lucky hid 60 clovers in our classroom for us to find. We took turns finding them but there seems to be one missing! Hmmm, was there really 60 or was Lucky a tricky Leprechaun! Maybe we will find it? Maybe we won't!
We came all decked out in our St. Patrick's Day gear today! We read a non-fiction book about St. Patrick's Day to find out what it was all about! Ask us what we learned today!
